Meet the World's Largest Passenger Ship

Harmony of the Sea, made by Royal Caribbean is the present largest passenger ship in the world. The ship made its first voyage on 29th May 2016. The ship was built by the company STX France for Royal Caribbean.

It took 32 months to build Harmony of the Sea. The ship is 1,188 feet long and 215.5 feet wide. Before Harmony of the Sea, Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas were the largest passenger ships

Harmony of the Sea can accommodate 6780 guests and 2100 crew members at a time. The ship costed more than $1 billion dollars for Royal Caribbean. She was registered in Bahamas and home ports in Barcelona.

Every 24 hours,110,000 lbs of ice cubes are produced. Also each day 479, 314 gallons of fresh water is consumed. Before each 7-day cruise, the ship stocks 15,000 lbs of beef, 9,700 lbs of chicken, 700 lbs of ice cream, 2100 lbs of lobster tails, 2,500 lbs of salmon, 5,300 lbs of bacon 20,000 lbs of potatoes and 5,000 lbs of french fries.
