Diseases and Causing Organisms

Vibrio cholerae is a type of bacteria. This bacteria is the causative organism of disease cholera. Salmonella typhi is the organism that causes disease typhoid.Salmonella typhi is a bacterium. Another disease causing bacteria is Clostridium tetani. Clostridium tetani is the causative organism of tetanus. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the bacteria which causes tuberculosis. Mycobacterium leprae is the bacteria which causes leprosy. Gonorrhea is caused by a type of bacteria named Nyceria gonorrhea.

Yersinia pestis is one type of zoonotic bacteria and it is the causative organism of bubonic plague. Bubonic plague is a deadly disease. Plasmodium is a protozoan and this protozoan is the causative organism of malaria. H1N1 is a virus that causes swine flu.Swine flu is a highly contagious disease.
H1N1 is the acronym Hemagglutinin Type 1 and Neuraminidase Type 1.

H5N1 is another virus and this virus is the causative organism of bird flu. H5N1 is the acronym Hemagglutinin Type 5 and Neuraminidase Type 1.

Human papillomavirus is a virus that causes warts. Athlete's foot or tinea pedis is caused by a microorganism named epidermophyton floccosum. Varicella zoster is the causative organism of chicken pox. Chicken pox is a contagious disease. Varicella zoster is a type of virus. Candida albicans is a  fungus that causes candidiasis. Candida albicans is a yeast like fungi. Corynebacterium diphtheriae is a micro organism that causes diphtheria. Corynebacterium diphtheriae is actually a bacteria which is also known as Klebs-Loffler bacillus.
