For any disease, the earlier the diagnosis, the better the cure. Same goes for prostate cancer. Prostrate cancer is curable. There are but some early signs that could make its prediction easier at its earlier stage. However if none of the symptoms are evident then PSA (Prostate-specific antigen) test is the only indicator that confirms early stage of prostate cancer. Now lets have a look at those early symptoms.
Difficulty in urinating
This is the most common symptom. There could be either pain while urinating or frequent urinating or loss of bladder control. Extreme symptoms could be passing blood in urine or smaller flow of urine than usual.
Trouble in ejaculation
This is considered to be one of the key symptoms. According to Prostate Cancer Foundation, reduction in ejaculation or pain while ejaculating is connected to early stages of prostate cancer.
Body pain, back pain
Pain in hips, back, pelvis, chest and groin can be associated with the diagnosis. However it is important to rule out other causes of pain by medical professionals.
Erectile dysfunction
A quick onset is a key indicator of prostate cancer. In old age, if it develops rapidly then it could be a sign of prostate cancer.
Weight loss
When there is a sudden weight loss at a faster rate it could due to Cancer. Again the various causes of cancer have to be first ruled out. Nevertheless, getting your prostate quickly checked will be helpful.
